Disappointment at Homburg

After the final whistle, Homburg's Nils Röseler expressed his disappointment at the late equalizer. “We didn’t defend well in the final phase of the game,” said Röseler. Coach Seitz also saw the division of points as bitter and emphasized the need to play off counterattacks better. After this draw, Homburg remains in ninth place in the table, and the gap to league leaders SGV Freiberg is now nine points.

SG Barockstadt is still in the relegation zone and has to prove itself in the state cup game on Wednesday. Homburg's next game against the Stuttgarter Kickers is scheduled for next Sunday, which kicks off at 2 p.m.
