On the night of Monday, November 11, 2025, two jeeps were stolen in Hamm, which brought the local authorities to the scene. The thefts occurred on Josef-Schlichter-Allee and on Lindenfelder Weg. The owner parked his Jeep at the latter location at 5 p.m. on Sunday, while the vehicle was parked on Schlichter-Allee at around 9 p.m. Both owners had to make the painful realization the following morning that their cars had disappeared. The Jeeps, a Cherokee and a Grand Cherokee, had HAM license plates and had a total value of around 25,000 euros.
