Ed Sheeran surprises in Stuttgart: duet with Zartmann delights fans!
A special musical event took place in Stuttgart when the internationally acclaimed artist Ed Sheeran gave his second concert on June 30, 2025. But Sheeran wasn't alone on stage: he had invited the Berlin musician Zartmann as a surprise guest. Together they thrilled their audience with Zartmann's hit “Tau mich auf”, which was performed in German. Their performance was not only musical, but also emotional - a warm hug at the end showed the bond between the two artists. They also showed this on Instagram, where they shared an excerpt from their performance.
Ed Sheeran, who is currently on a big tour, was excited about his collaboration with Zartmann. He said that he had previously brushed up on his German and expressed his love for both the song and his colleague. In German, Sheeran thanked him with the words "Thank you Stuttgart" before he will soon give three concerts at the Volksparkstadion in Hamburg, starting on July 4, 2025.
Successful promotion for Zartmann
The Berlin Zartmann is currently celebrating great success himself. With his single “Tau mich auf” he reached the top of the German single charts in February. His latest release, the “Schönhauser EP,” which came out on April 4, 2025, has even dominated the album charts and reached number one. This EP, a tribute to Berlin's Schönhauser Allee, has surpassed the success of his previous release, the "That's why I'm free EP", which only reached number six. In addition, at the end of last year, Zartmann was awarded together with Ski Aggu at the 1LIVE Krone 2024 in the “Best Alternative Song” category for the track “How you sometimes miss” and recently announced a tour of Germany for the beginning of 2026.
Sheeran on a big tour
Ed Sheeran is currently on an impressive tour through 13 countries with a total of 32 upcoming concerts. This tour is titled “+=÷x” and includes performances in cities such as Zurich, Antwerp, Stockholm, Copenhagen and Düsseldorf. On July 5th, 2025 he will enter the Volksparkstadion in Hamburg, followed by another concert on July 4th. Tickets for his shows are already available and are very popular.
