Thomas Eichin, Director of Licensing at Bayer Leverkusen, expressed dissatisfaction with the short-term rescheduling of the game date and pointed out that the increased risk of injury for the players should not be ignored. Bayer coach Roberto Pätzold described the entire situation as beneficial for his team. The uncertainty of whether we would start again with 0-0 and 90 minutes posed a particular challenge for many.
