Leverkusen starts mini Nürburgring: 500 euros for children in need!
In Leverkusen, the mini Nürburgring racetrack in Manfort started last weekend and not only provided a lot of fun, but also an impressive amount of donations. At this special event, a whopping 526.50 euros were collected for the Lichtblicke campaign, which takes care of children and families in need. The idea behind the event was to provide a creative way to combine joy and solidarity. The organizer Horst Gottschalk was enthusiastic about the lively participation and the visitors' impressive willingness to donate.
With a total of 1,053 officially counted laps on the approximately 40-meter-long Carrera track, the crowds were huge. For every lap driven, an amount of 50 cents went into the donation box, which drew spectators shaking their heads along the track. The fastest verified lap time was 39.8 seconds, which encouraged the drivers to achieve top performance.
A celebration for a good cause
The event was a great alternative for all racing fans who were unable to attend the 24-hour race in the Eifel. The mini race track not only offered fun for the participants, but also created a sense of community among the spectators. It was an opportunity to come together, celebrate and contribute at the same time.
The proceeds from the event will benefit Aktion Lichtblicke e.V. This organization supports projects creatively and in solidarity that aim to help people in need. To support such initiatives, those interested can also get involved themselves by starting their own campaigns on platforms such as betterplace.org. Everyone can start their own fundraising campaign here, be it for birthday parties or sporting challenges.
The meaning of bright spots
The Bright Spots campaign is crucial for many families and children who need support. Events like the Mini Nürburgring Racecourse not only raise money, but also raise awareness of the challenges these people face. Many donors use this to show their commitment and willingness to help others.
Horst Gottschalk and the entire Mini-Rennbahn team are looking forward to future events that will both strengthen the community and support important aid projects. It remains to be hoped that such creative actions will continue to be carried out and that many more people will find the opportunity to get involved and show their support.
For those who would like to find out more about the Lichtblicke campaign or want to get involved themselves, the website lichtblicke.de is an excellent place to start. This means that many more good deeds can be carried out in the future under the motto “Together for a good cause”.
