On Sunday night, DSC Arminia Bielefeld started this year's training camp in South Tyrol. The team reached their hotel, the Kronhotel “Leitgam” in Kiens, around midnight and was warmly welcomed with an impressive light spectacle. Despite the late arrival, coach Patrick Kniat was determined to hold the first training session on Sunday morning. So you can be sure that the team will be prepared in the best possible way for the upcoming 2025/26 season after successfully achieving promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga LZ reports.
But it's not just the weather in the mountains that has to be optimal, the fans' expectations are also high. The training camp will take place from July 12th to 20th and offers supporters the opportunity to be there first hand. Information about the exact process and short-term changes to training times will be provided by the media. All units are public and take place on the ASV Kiens premises, where food and drinks are also offered, as Arminia.de shows in detail.
Fan information and supporting program
There is a varied program for fans during their stay. Here are some highlights:
- Sonntag, 14. Juli: Training um 17:30 Uhr.
- Montag, 15. Juli: Vormittagstraining von 10:30 bis 12 Uhr, Pressekonferenz um 14 Uhr (Anmeldung erforderlich), nachmittags Training von 17 bis 18:30 Uhr.
- Dienstag, 16. Juli: Zwei Trainingseinheiten, eine kleine Wanderung zur Moarhofalm um 12 Uhr (Anmeldung erforderlich).
- Mittwoch, 17. Juli: Training mit anschließendem Testspiel um 18:00 Uhr gegen ASV Kiens.
- Donnerstag, 18. Juli: Training und ein Fanabend von 19:30 bis 22:00 Uhr (Anmeldung erforderlich).
Another highlight are the planned test games: On July 16th the team will play against SC Imst at 6:30 p.m. and on July 19th at 3:00 p.m. in Brixen against FC Nürnberg. These events offer fans the opportunity to experience the new additions and the development of the team live, as Kiens highlights.
Regional connection and support for fans
The Kiens Holiday Pass is available for fans who have booked their accommodation through the Kiens Tourism Association. This enables free use of regional public transport in South Tyrol. There is also on-site support from fan support, which is available throughout the week and provides excursion tips and information about the area.
