Roosters and MAV: Ice hockey tickets strengthen training and team spirit!
What is currently happening in the ice hockey scene in Iserlohn? An exciting campaign provides a breath of fresh air! The Märkische Employers Association (MAV) and the Iserlohn Roosters have joined forces to promote the training of young people. As part of this initiative, several hundred tickets for Roosters players have already found their way to training companies.
A total of 580 tickets were ordered from around 40 participating companies. These are intended to offer the trainers and their trainees the opportunity to spend an unforgettable time together at an ice hockey club's home game. “We want to strengthen team spirit and promote the loyalty of young people to the companies,” explains Dr. Andreas Weber from MAV. It's not an easy time for companies, and this action makes perfect sense. Particularly in times of a shortage of skilled workers, it is important to get young people excited about training.
The details of the action
The handover of the tickets took place in a celebratory atmosphere. Sonja Leisinger from HJS Emission Technology and trainee Anna Wallnisch played an important role in this. “I’m very pleased to see how many companies are getting involved and willing to create shared experiences in this way,” said Frank Richter, the Roosters’ head of marketing. The tickets are valid for two exciting Roosters home games:
- 23.11.2025, 18 Uhr gegen Adler Mannheim
- 08.01.2026, 19:30 Uhr gegen Eisbären Berlin
The demand for the tickets is high. No wonder, because the Iserlohn Roosters are now very popular and enjoy a high reputation not only in the region but also beyond the borders. The fans can look forward to exciting games!
The weather cooperates
And while the Iserlohn Roosters bring their sweat to the ice rink, we should also take a look at the weather. Today the sky over Iserlohn is mostly sunny with a maximum temperature of around 14 °C. Perfect conditions to enjoy the anticipation of the games. While the nights will be cloudy with temperatures around 8 °C, you can already look forward to next Sunday, which will also be partly sunny.
In summary, the campaign by MAV and Roosters shows that with a good hand you can make a significant contribution to youth development. Training is not only a key to successful careers, but also a link between companies and the next generation.
