Honor and outlook

Jürgen Kroos, Vice President of the Chamber of Crafts (HWK), recognized the achievements of the young talents and their training companies at the ceremony. He also thanked parents, trainers and teachers who contributed significantly to these successes. The competition, in which around 4,300 apprentices from 130 trades in the Münster chamber district took part, offers winners the opportunity to fight for participation in the national finals in the state competition HWK Münster explained in detail.

The personal experiences of the participants are also interesting. For example, Aaron Kunkel, an aspiring master bricklayer, reported on his involvement in preparing for the master craftsman. His comments show how important such competitions are for the professional careers of young craftsmen and women. Emily Menke, a carpenter trainee, even talked about her sponsored internship abroad in Australia - an experience that helped her advance in her career path.

Practical support is also available through teaching materials and brochures on career choice, which parents can request. All of this underlines how important it is to promote young talent in the trades and that “there is something going on” in this industry.
