At around 5:30 p.m., a black Mercedes GLE AMG was noticed by the patrolling emergency services as it was traveling at slow speed towards Zülpicher Platz. What initially seemed like a seemingly harmless traffic stop quickly developed into an explosive situation. The 38-year-old driver threw a bag to the passenger, a 27-year-old man, before officers asked the vehicle to stop. But the passenger decided to flee, but was quickly caught Day24 reported.
