Yesterday's All Saints' Fair in Soest was eagerly awaited and correspondingly well attended. Reconstruction Sunday took place on November 2nd, 2025, when the old town was decorated in a colorful festival. Many visitors strolled through the streets while children and families enjoyed numerous attractions. The carousels were particularly popular, including the children's carousel "Timmy's Time Travel" and the exciting "Big Monster".
Preparations for the All Saints' Day fair were in full swing. Fair plans were posted at various locations in the city, presenting the diverse offerings of the event. A group of “old Soesters” were already enjoying their first bull’s eyes and fair beer, which perfectly rounded off the convivial atmosphere. Jeremy, who acted as recommander, was busy setting up the Voodoo Jumper while finishing touches were being made to the children's carousel at St. Peter's Churchyard.

The city administration had taken precautions and set up numerous access barriers to ensure the safety of visitors during the fair. A total of 100 octablocks were installed in the old town, with the remaining barriers expected to follow on Monday. The souvenir information stand in front of the town hall was well attended, with particularly high demand for fair pins, scarves and bracelets. An employee at the stand reported on the keen interest of visitors.
The All Saints' Fair itself has a long tradition and is considered the largest old town fair in Europe. It attracts millions of people every year. In 2023, around 1 million visitors were already counted! This year's event will take place from November 5th to 9th, 2025 and promises to be another big highlight in the event calendar, as well ADAC reported.
