Rosalía inspires with Berghain – A musical masterpiece!

The creator of the Spanish musical wonder, Rosalía, has released her first single “Berghain” from the highly anticipated fourth studio album “Lux” today, October 27, 2025. This new work not only brings a breath of fresh air into the music world, but also combines the artistic power of greats like Björk and US producer Yves Tumor. Antenne Unna describes “Berghain” as the orchestral center of this emotional chapter in Rosalía’s work.

In the song itself, the artist moves back and forth between Spanish, English and German. The musical background is an exciting mix of electronic beats, orchestral and choral elements that takes the listener on an exciting journey. An impressive excerpt of the text reads: "His anger is my anger. His love is my love..." This shows the profound lyrical debate that Rosalía makes visible.

An emotional spectacle

The album's pre-announcement took place last week in Spain, where Rosalía held a large open-air event that received significant media coverage. No new songs were presented on this occasion, but the anticipation for “Lux” continues to grow. According to Uproxx, the album will be released on November 7th - a date that coincides with a concert in Valencia. An emotional arc of female mysticism, transformation and transcendence is expected.

The music video for "Berghain", directed by Nicolás Méndez, shows Rosalía accompanied by an orchestra that leads her through various scenes of her everyday life. Within just an hour of being posted, the video had already received nearly 80,000 likes and collected over 8,000 comments. This shows how much the audience has been waiting for this artist's return. Pitchfork particularly highlights that the entire production was realized by Rosalía herself in collaboration with the London Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Daníel Bjarnason.

A look at “Lux”

The album itself consists of four consecutive movements and contains a total of 18 tracks. So far the titles like “Sexo, Violencia y Llantas” and “Dios Es Un Stalker” have been confirmed. The participants include well-known names such as Carminho, Estrella Morente and the boys' choir Escolania de Montserrat, which further underlines the musical range of “Lux”. What is particularly exciting is that some titles were released exclusively for CD and vinyl, such as “Sauvignon Blanc” and “Jeanne”.

Rosalía has established herself as an internationally successful artist over the years, not only with her unique blend of flamenco, Latin pop, R&B and reggaeton, but also through impressive success at the Grammys, where she received awards for her albums “El mal querer” and “Motomami”. In addition to her music career, she also demonstrates acting talent, for example in Pedro Almodóvar's film “Suffering and Glory” or in the series “Euphoria”.

In Rosalía's lovely world it is obvious: she knows how to captivate the audience. With “Berghain” she has now released another masterpiece that is not only convincing as a musical work, but also as a visual experience. November 7th will be an important day for their fans, because that's when the full album "Lux" will be released and promises to be a very special experience.
