TSC Kamen: Rebuilding and hope for the first win in the district league A!
Things are getting tighter for TSC Kamen in the A2 district league. After eleven games, the team under new coach Aytac Arman is still without a win and has to be content with being at the bottom of the table. The team's record is worrying: 0 wins and only 2 draws. That sounds like a dramatic decline, but there is hope for improvement.
Faruk Kanar, a former board member of the club, sees the situation as understandable, given the rebuilding the team is undergoing. There are currently 10 to 12 players training and there are signs of positive development. Reinforcements are expected until the winter break: a striker and a defensive player are expected, and the team is expected to be strengthened by four to five new players.
Challenges in exploiting opportunities
A big problem in the previous games was the exploitation of chances. There were particular setbacks in the last games against SV Frömern (2:4) and SG Massen II (1:6). In addition, the average age of the team is low, around 22 to 23 years old, which means that some players need time to reach the required A-district league level. Despite the difficulties, Kanar remains optimistic about staying in the league and has longed for the return of Kubilay Kanar and Yousuf Güney for the next matchday, who missed out due to injury.
On the coming 12th matchday, the fans can expect exciting encounters on the pitch. Some of the key predictions are:
- TuS Uentrop – VfL Kamen II: Tipp 3:1
- SV Westfalia Rhynern II – SpVg Bönen: Tipp 2:0
- SG Massen II – SuS Oberaden: Tipp 1:3
- Türkischer SC Kamen – SuS Kaiserau II: Tipp 2:1
- TIU Rünthe – PSV Bork: Tipp 5:0
- BW Alstedde – TuS Hemmerde: Tipp 4:0
- TuS Westfalia Wethmar – SV Bausenhagen: Tipp 2:0
- FC Overberge – SV Frömern: Tipp 3:0
- BSV Heeren – FC TuRa Bergkamen: Tipp 1:4
Restructuring in amateur football
Amateur football is not only experiencing changes at TSC Kamen. As the Swabian newspaper reports, many teams in the district league A 1 come with strong newcomers and attractive goals from last season, in which the SGM Hart/Owingen stood out with a good fifth place. Player-coach Nico Kästle emphasizes that further development and staying in the league are clear priorities for his team.
In summary, an interesting season is just around the corner, which will certainly have many surprises and exciting games in store. While TSC Kamen is trying to climb out of the bottom of the table, it remains to be seen whether the necessary reinforcements will take effect and the team will finally find its way to success in the rebuild.
