Federal Medal of Merit awarded to Tönisvorster Angela Krumpen!

A special honor recently took place in Tönisvorst. Angela Krumpen was with the Federal Medal of Merit on ribbon excellent. The first deputy district administrator, Heike Höltken, presented the medal in a solemn ceremony in the district hall in Viersen. Around 30 guests gathered to witness this special award.

During the celebration, Angela Krumpen spoke and allowed those present to take a look at her eventful years. In her acceptance speech, she addressed each guest personally and told many anecdotes. Her gratitude was directed at friends, family, colleagues and companions who have supported her on her life journey so far. Heike Höltken praised Krumpen's ability to put the "we" above the "I" and described her as a role model for many.

Although Heike Höltken attributed Krumpen as a role model, the honoree modestly rejected this assessment. For her, the community is at the forefront and she is always concerned with supporting and encouraging others.
