Motorcycle accident in Sendenhorst: Information about the gray SUV urgently sought!

A 40-year-old motorcyclist from Münster was slightly injured in a motorcycle accident in Sendenhorst-Albersloh last Friday, July 4, 2025. The incident occurred around 11:10 a.m. on L 850, near Sunger Street. The driver was on the way to Rinkerode when she fell at the end of a left-hand bend and slid about 100 meters across the road. Although she had to be taken to hospital for outpatient treatment, fortunately the accident was not serious.

The police are now asking for information from the public. A gray Audi SUV may have played a role in the accident. Witnesses who saw something or perhaps even know the driver of the SUV are asked to contact the KPB Warendorf traffic commissioner. You can reach the authority on 02581/600-500. Colleagues from the Warendorf Police Press Office are also available to answer any questions you may have about the press release.

At the end of the left curve

As is usual with traffic accidents, diligent investigations and tips are crucial to clarifying what happened. It is important to note that even without a direct collision, injuries can occur when drivers take evasive maneuvers to avoid collisions. This is shown by another incident that recently occurred in Viersen. A 15-year-old driver of a moped had to avoid a gray SUV on Zweitorstrasse to avoid a collision. Here too, a fall occurred and the girl sustained minor injuries - another example of how dangerous such situations can be.

The SUV driver had stopped briefly to check on the girl's well-being, but continued driving after she assured him that everything was okay. This underlines the urgency of exchanging personal details in the event of damage, especially when it involves injured children or young people. Such incidents make it clear how important responsible behavior on the road is.

The police are therefore not only calling on those who witnessed the accident in Sendenhorst-Albersloh to come forward, but also on all other road users who may have been involved in similar situations. By keeping a close eye on what's happening on the roads, you can help avoid dangerous situations and accidents.

For further information and advice on traffic incidents or your own safety on the road, please note that both the Warendorf police and other local authorities are available to contact at any time.
