New headmaster Stefan Klümper: A breath of fresh air for the White Rose!

In Warendorf there is a breath of fresh air at the Weiße Rose Municipal Comprehensive School. Since August 1, 2025, Stefan Klümper has taken over the reins as the new headmaster. He succeeds Gertrud Korf, who shaped the school for many years before she went into well-deserved retirement before the summer holidays. Klümper, previously deputy headmaster at the Horstmar-Schöppingen secondary school, brings a lot of experience and teaches the subjects of physics, technology and mathematics.

What is particularly important to him is promoting respectful cooperation and creating an environment in which diversity, equal opportunities and community are valued. In his new role, he not only wants to impart knowledge, but also promote values and team spirit - a task that is more important than ever these days.

A strong team at the comprehensive school

The management team at the Weiße Rose comprehensive school is made up of competent experts who cover various areas. In addition to Klümper, there is also Endrik Kremkus as deputy headmaster, Ariane Schulze Bövingloh for grades 11-13, Detlef Sult for grades 8-10 and Britta Almstedt, who acts as didactic director. Torben Busat takes over provisional management for years 5-7. This ensures that all age groups and educational needs are optimally cared for.

The email addresses of the school management are also available so that students and their parents can contact them directly if they have any questions or suggestions:

Challenges in the education system

Taking over educational leadership is not only an important topic in Warendorf. Current reports show that one in 20 schools in Germany is without a proper school management. This highlights the challenges faced by school leaders and teaching staff. In view of lesson cancellations and resigned educators, it is crucial that schools are led by experienced and committed leaders, such as those represented by Klümper in Warendorf. According to Spiegel, clear structures and strong school management are essential for a well-functioning education system.

With Klümper at the helm of the Weiße Rose Municipal Comprehensive School, it shows that Warendorf is on a promising path. The community can look forward to positive development, while Klümper wants to firmly anchor the values of respect and cooperation in everyday school life.

In summary, one can say: Warendorf has ushered in a new era, which is hopefully filled with fresh ideas and a positive school culture. Those responsible here have definitely shown a good hand!
