Attention judo fans! The anticipation of the German Judo Federation's Bundesliga final is increasing with the RTV JUDOTEAM's spectacular application for the event in 2025. Managing Director Arthur Hass was enthusiastic and sees the opportunity to bring the German Judo community, politics and business together. The event is titled "The 2025 Final Four: One Day. Two Titles. Many Unforgettable Moments!" and promises an unforgettable experience for all visitors, like judobund.de reported.
The final will take place in the Unihalle in Wuppertal, which can accommodate up to 2,500 spectators. The supporting program is particularly outlined, which includes performances by the well-known Dolphins cheerleaders from Krefeld, who took third place at the World Cup, as well as the band “Samba e Vida”. Here fans can look forward to a colorful mix of sport, music and entertainment.
Participating top athletes
Numerous top judoka and Olympians are expected at such an event, which further increases the anticipation. Alexander Wieczerzak, 2017 world champion, is just as enthusiastic as the many spectators who can look forward to autographs, selfies and personal encounters.
The ticket prices are also interesting: From July 17, 2025, tickets can be purchased in advance. Initially offered in three phases, the tickets cost:

However, the race for the state championship title is not just about the German Judo Association. An exciting final will also be held in Austria on November 25, 2025. The M&R Galaxy Tigers, UJZ Mühlviertel, LZ Multikraft Wels and PSV Salzburg are fighting for the title at the Raiffeisensportpark Gmunden. Tips.at reports that the M&R Galaxy Tigers are competing as last year's winners after beating UJZ Mühlviertel in the final.
Rules and exciting participants
The final in Gmunden will be attended by top-class athletes, including Olympians and top judokas. According to the competition rules, the teams compete in seven bouts in the Olympic weight classes, with the team with the most points winning. A score that is equal is decided by the subscore. With the Borchashvili brothers, Lukas Krpalek and Denis Vieru, we see some of the best of the best at work.
