Bad Dürkheim is planning a new Festival of Nations: Cosmopolitan Culinary 2026!

On October 31, 2025, everything revolves around the “Festival of Nations” in Bad Dürkheim. This culinary festival, which is organized by the “Alliance for Diversity and Tolerance”, has repeatedly thrilled visitors in recent years. The event has already taken place three times, most recently in the run-up to Christmas in 2024, and preparations for the next edition in 2026 are already underway. How Rhine Palatinate reports, the city of Bad Dürkheim is currently examining the extent to which financial support can be provided for the festival.

The “Festival of Nations” is dedicated to the culinary diversity from different countries and offers a wonderful insight into the cultural treasures that our world has to offer. Such a varied meal not only challenges the palate, but also the exchange between cultures. The focus here is on promoting tolerance and diversity, which makes the festival a meeting place for people from all different backgrounds.

A look outside the box

But festivals of this kind are not only popular in Germany. In Jordan, cultural heritage is also celebrated with numerous festivals. For example, the Jerash Festival of Culture and Arts in the ancient city of Jerash showcases international and local talent in music, dance and theater. These events, like Johtt reports, offer a comprehensive art and culinary experience and attract both locals and tourists.

Another highlight is the Red Sea Jazz Festival in Aqaba, which provides a stage for jazz musicians from all over the world while taking advantage of the city's beautiful coastal backdrop. Such gatherings help bring cultures together and promote respectful dialogue.

Play and feast in Bad Dürkheim

In Bad Dürkheim, however, the “Festival of Nations” is not the only event that brings families together. On October 25, 2025, the popular Boo Fest took place at Festival Foods, designed specifically for children aged up to eight years old and offering a wonderful opportunity to wear Halloween costumes. With stations full of sweets and small gifts, the event ensured that all children got their money's worth Festival Foods describes.

During the fall season, there are many opportunities to celebrate joyful festivals and gain new culinary experiences in the region. Whether as part of the “Festival of Nations” or at local Halloween celebrations – the joy of enjoyment and community is evident in many different ways.

At this point we can only hope that the city of Bad Dürkheim continues its commitment to the “Festival of Nations” and that the remaining festivals also contribute to celebrating the culture and diversity that shapes our society.
