Burglary in Bad Dürkheim: Perpetrators only leave property damage behind!
In the early morning of November 9th, 2025, the police in Bad Dürkheim were called to a break-in at a store on Weinstraße Süd. As the Bad Dürkheim police station reports, the incident was discovered at around 4:30 a.m. A security company discovered the break-in and informed the authorities.
When officers arrived, they discovered that two unknown, masked people had broken into the store's warehouse. Surveillance cameras recorded the two suspects, who were dressed in black. They got into the back of the store through a broken window, but the sales area remained untouched and nothing was stolen.
Damage and investigations
Despite the fortunate fact that the perpetrators didn't take anything with them, the damaged window caused material damage of around 1,000 euros. The police immediately launched a search in the local area, but this had no results. The investigation is ongoing and officers are looking for further clues.
The police are asking the public for help: Anyone who noticed suspicious activity or vehicles in the area mentioned on November 9th should contact them by calling 06322/963-0 or sending an email to pibadduerkheim@polizei.rlp.de.
