St. Martin's Gourmet Mile: Twice as many guests celebrate the culinary festival!

On Saturday evening, June 28, 2025, the “Mademer Genussmeile” in St. Martin experienced a real rush. The new association “Mademer Gastro”, which was only founded in April and consists of twelve regional restaurateurs, organized its first joint event. With around 500 visitors – twice as many as last year – the Genussmeile was a complete success Rhine Palatinate reported.

Visitors had the opportunity to enjoy a customized menu created by ten local restaurants. Ten wineries offered the right wines that perfectly complemented the taste experiences. 260 tickets have already been sold in advance, and many other guests dropped by spontaneously, which further livened up the relaxed atmosphere of the event.

A feast for the senses

From 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., visitors could look forward to a delicious five or eight-course menu, which they could put together themselves at the catering stands. The Ziegler wineries and many other local winemakers ensured that there was no shortage of suitable wines. For the sweet finale, a sweet wine and a delicious dessert awaited the guests at CaFee Zauber.

The performances by music acts such as Stefano, Daglöhner, Mademer Ausles and David Schneider, who accompanied the event with their music, were particularly popular. Artisans showed their works until late in the evening, and retailers in St. Martin also actively participated in late shopping and attracted many visitors to their stores. The entire event radiated a cheerful and relaxed atmosphere that brought everyone involved from St. Martin together.

A successful start for “Mademer Gastro”

This first gourmet mile of the new association has shown that regional gastronomy and community events are very popular. The organizers can rightly be proud of their event, which attracted many guests to the charming community. The success of this event gives hope for other similar events in the future.
