In Ludwigshafen, hockey invited the youngest talents to its big stage. The first base tournament for the male U10 took place at the end of June, in which VfL Bad Kreuznach took part with a strong squad. Eight of the club's players were nominated for the Rhineland selection: Anton, Moritz, Jonathan, Sören, Philipp, Felix, Finn and Venci. Although the Rhineland selection unfortunately lost 2-0 in both matches against the Rheinhessen and Palatinate selections, the mood on the field was consistently positive.
