Summer evenings in Birkenfeld have become the epitome of social gatherings. On Friday, July 4, 2025, over 200 people flocked to the church square to attend the first event in the “Hot Summer Nights” series. A successful premiere that was organized by the city of Birkenfeld and was very popular with music lovers and gourmets alike.
The Pearlspiel duo provided the musical backdrop, delighting the guests with their rousing sounds. Market master Jürgen Schug described the event as a complete success and emphasized that not only the music but also the culinary offerings from the food stalls were well received. The offerings ranged from regional specialties to refreshing drinks that provided the necessary cooling down in the summer heat. Admission was free and visitors were encouraged to donate generously to continue the series.
