A very special record was recently set in tranquil Oberthal: over 120 Christmas packages were sent on their journey to Eastern Europe with a lot of love and, above all, a big heart. This campaign, which arose from an initiative to support people in need, not only radiates joy but also embodies the spirit of Christmas in its purest form. What is behind this great campaign? The Christmas package campaign is supported by numerous volunteers from all over Germany who motivate schools and kindergartens to become active themselves. It is not uncommon for the children themselves to help out by donating well-preserved, functional toys, thus putting a smile on the faces of other children growing up in less advantaged circumstances.
