Something exciting is happening again in the city of Kölsch brewers: A young man was checked by the Wittlich police station today after he fell on his scooter. As rhein-zeitung.de reports,, the driver was fortunately uninjured and his scooter was also undamaged. But the joy didn't last long. During the check, the bitter truth came to light: the young man had an alcohol level of over 1.5 per mille and was therefore unfit to drive.
The law enforcement officers did not simply let him continue driving and forbade him to continue driving. Even though the accident was minor, an investigation was opened and a blood sample was taken to clarify the exact circumstances of his drunkenness.
