The labor market situation in West Palatinate will be under pressure in June 2025. According to a report by the Rhine Palatinate a slight increase in unemployment was recorded. The number of people registered as unemployed increased by 93 people compared to the previous month, bringing the total to 18,910. • Landkreis Kusel: 1.790 Arbeitslose (plus 17), Arbeitslosenquote von 4,9% bei 426 Stellen.

Looking at the total number of vacancies in the region, over 4,000 positions are advertised. Skilled workers are particularly in demand in the areas of other economic services, trade as well as health and social services, which impressively underlines the need for qualified workers.
