There is currently a lot of work being done on the cultural future in the Rhineland-Palatinate region. A good example of this is the “Mäander” project in the Eifel district of Bitburg-Prüm, which recently received funding from the federal program “Aller.Land – shape together. Diverse parts of the program
The entire program “Aller.Land – shaping together. Strengthening structures.” has set itself the goal of supporting 97 rural regions. All selected regions, including the Eifel district of Bitburg-Prüm and the Kylltal, will receive basic funding of 40,000 euros during the development phase from 2024. This funding is intended to help develop viable concepts for participation-oriented cultural projects. Participants can test and implement their ideas in the coming years.
A total of an impressive 69.4 million euros is available to support cultural initiatives between 2023 and 2030. The program partners include renowned institutions such as the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and Media (BKM), the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL) and the Federal Agency for Civic Education (bpb).
