Rübenach celebrates 1250 years with a big village festival and a colorful program!

In Rübenach, a district of Koblenz, a very special event was celebrated on August 24, 2025: the 1250th anniversary of the town. The year-long celebrations are part of a large anniversary program that the community has prepared with great enthusiasm. Last Saturday, a festive village festival took place in the elementary school playground, which had a lot to offer for young and old. The anticipation for the festival was great, especially since the traditional tapping of the barrel was initially on the brink, but fortunately it was finally able to take place.

It started in the early afternoon and the festival didn't end until late at night. A colorful program ensured that the visitors were well entertained and were able to enjoy the special atmosphere of the anniversary. As the Rhine newspaper reports, the village festival was a successful mix of traditional customs and modern accents that reflected Rübenach's character.

A year full of celebrations

The year 2025 is all about the 1250th anniversary. In addition to the great village festival, numerous events are planned throughout the year that give the community the opportunity to celebrate and come together.
