Health change in Kusel: New platform GesundLebenKusel” launches!
Something is happening in the Kusel district when it comes to health and care: A new platform called “GesundLebenKusel” is being launched, which is intended to establish itself as a central contact point for all questions about health and care. According to a report by the Rhine Palatinate The initiators have set themselves the goal of creating a comprehensive overview of regional offers for citizens, caring relatives and local actors.
The platform offers anyone interested the opportunity to present their services free of charge. Doctors, nursing facilities, healthcare providers and even sports clubs are invited to present their offerings there and thus increase the visibility of their services. Simple registration is necessary - if you have any questions, you can contact the project coordinator Jana Wilhelm directly. She can be reached on 06381 424525 or by email at jana.wilhelm@kv-kus.de.
Strengthen networking and exchange
In addition, this health and care platform is intended to promote exchange between stakeholders in its own region. There is already a lot of information about the contact points and offers available online. According to the information page of Get involved in the Kusel district It therefore becomes an important tool for citizens to find their way around more quickly and easily.
The decision to name the platform was part of the entire project. The team has launched a naming competition where winners must be contacted by March 1, 2025. This shows the active involvement of the public and that the initiators have a good sense of the needs of the citizens.
Example of a successful regional initiative
Similar concepts in Bavaria, such as the “Health Regions Plus”, have already proven to be a success story. According to a source from Deggendorf district Since its introduction in 2014, 62 health regions have already been established. They aim to strengthen collaboration in the health and care sector and promote innovative ideas for health care.
The funding program, which provides up to 250,000 euros per region, is intended to particularly support rural areas and help to sustainably improve the medical and nursing infrastructure. Projects such as a digital care guide or local health projects are just a few examples of successful initiatives from these regions.
With “GesundLebenKusel” the Kusel district shows that it too has its finger on the pulse and is perhaps taking the decisive step towards networking and improving local health care. The future looks promising – right on our doorstep!
