Pressure on BASF TC Ludwigshafen: Winning against Sprendlingen is a must!

BASF TC Ludwigshafen is under pressure! Next weekend the team will play against TC Rot-Weiss Sprendlingen after suffering a narrow 4:5 defeat against Reutlingen at the start of the season. Coach Denis Gremelmayr emphasizes the importance of a successful start to the season in order to gain a cushion from the bottom of the table with two or three wins. After all, both Sprendlingen and Ludwigshafen lost in the first round and urgently need points to avoid falling into early relegation trouble. Rhine Palatinate reports that the team from Augsburg, the next opponent at the home game, was relegated from the first division last year and now desperately wants to get back up.

BASF TC, Sprendlingen and Augsburg currently have a record of 5:4, with only Augsburg emerging as winners in the first round. Sprendlingen also lost, with the same narrow result against Eintracht Frankfurt. In this sense, there is a lot at stake for all three teams in the next encounters - the line-up for the fight for the points is already being coached. Gremelmayr doesn't want to look too deeply into the squad planning and hopes to present the audience an attractive home game on Sunday.
