Ebersheim's art cycling foursome celebrates: World Cup ticket secured for Bremen!
An exciting weekend for the RV Ebersheim artistic cycling athletes! At the German Masters in Gäufelden-Nehaben, the talented athletes got their ticket for the World Championships in Bremen. This event will take place in front of a home crowd and the joy about it is huge.
The team, consisting of Tijem Karatas, Stella Rosenbach, Milena Schwarz and the reserve driver Svenja Kraus, prevailed in a thrilling competition. Despite the challenging circumstances that arose from Annika Rosenbach's broken collarbone, the solidarity remained strong. She was injured shortly before the crucial qualifying part, which abruptly ended the sporting year for her. “It felt like the season was over for me,” said coach Oliver Schwarz, who, however, found a perfect solution with Svenja Kraus and was thus able to strengthen the team dynamic.
Performance under pressure
The athletes were received with great applause from the audience at the competition. There was a tense silence during their five-minute routine, broken only by the sound of a bottle falling over. The Ebersheim women started strong with an initial score of 244.90 points, but they lost a few points at the beginning. A big compliment to the athletes who, despite these initial difficulties, showed no further weaknesses and secured additional points.
In the end they ended up with a solid final score of 241.63 points. When the free program was finished, coach Oliver Schwarz let an enthusiastic “Jaaaa” echo through the Töngeshalle, and the spectators loudly celebrated the team. “The girls did a great job and deserved a well-deserved break,” said Schwarz after the competition, while the riders retreated straight away to prepare for the upcoming finale.
Successes and challenges
These Ebersheim women are not just talented athletes; They have already achieved World Championship gold, silver and even a world record. Their hard work and determination paid off this time too. There is great anticipation for the World Cup in Bremen, and the entire region is looking forward to what is to come. It remains to be seen how the team will fare against strong international competition. But one thing is certain: with her knack for challenges and the support of her fans, a spectacular performance could be in store.
We will continue to report on RV Ebersheim's progress and are excited about the upcoming competitions. Stay tuned!
