An exciting weekend for the Kunstrad athletes of RV Ebersheim! At the German Masters in Gaufelden-Nebringen, the talented athletes have solved their World Cup ticket for the World Cup in Bremen. This event will take place in front of a home crowd and the joy about it is huge.
The team, consisting of Tijem Karatas, Stella Rosenbach, Milena Schwarz and the replacement driver Svenja Kraus, prevailed in a gripping competition. Despite the challenging circumstances caused by Annika Rosenbach's broken collarbone, the cohesion remained strong. Shortly before the decisive qualifications, she had injured her, which the sport year ended abruptly. "The season felt like it," said coach Oliver Schwarz, who, however, found a perfect solution with Svenja Kraus and was able to strengthen the team dynamics.
Performance under pressure
The athletes were welcomed by the audience with great applause at the competition. During her five-minute short, there was a tense silence, only disturbed by the sound of a fallen bottle. The Ebersheimers started strongly with an initial value of 244.90 points, but at the beginning they lost some points. A great praise to the athletes who, despite these starting difficulties, showed no further weaknesses and secured additional points.
In the end, they landed with a solid end result of 241.63 points. When the freestyle was over, coach Oliver Schwarz had an enthusiastic "Jaaaa" through the Töngeshalle, and the spectators celebrated the team loudly. "The girls did a great job and earned a well -deserved break," said Schwarz after the competition, while the drivers retreated directly to prepare for the upcoming final.
