Element of Crime is coming to Mainz – advance ticket sales start today!
What exciting news for all music lovers in Mainz! On June 6, 2026, the legendary band Element of Crime will perform at the Cultural Center (KUZ). The event is organized by Mainzplus Citymarketing and will be part of the popular “Unscharf-with-Cat” tour, which is a continuation of the successful tour from 2025. The concert offers a colorful mix of well-known classics, rarely played titles and new songs from the band. There won't be a dry eye in the house!
Sven Regener, the charismatic singer and head of the band, will have a special connection to Mainz this year. He will be the city clerk of Mainz in 2026, making the concert not only a musical but also a cultural highlight. An insider close to the band has already announced that the additional concert in the Rhine-Main area is a direct result of the great interest in the almost sold-out performance on May 29th in Mannheim's Rosengarten.
High-profile support for the concert series
Marianne Grosse, Mainz's head of construction and culture, describes Element of Crime's performance as a true enrichment for the city's cultural life. Katja Mailahn, managing director of Mainzplus Citymarketing, sees the concert as an absolute highlight for fans of the music scene. And best of all: Advance sales for the highly sought-after tickets begin today, January 15, 2026, at 12 p.m. The tickets cost 59.50 euros and are available both in the “Summer in the City” ticket shop and in the Mainz Store on Domplatz.
But that's not all! The “Summer in the City” concert series will offer even more top-class artists in 2026. The following appearances have already been confirmed:

Another band that is causing a sensation is Nina Chuba, whose concert on July 16th in the Volkspark is already sold out. It seems as if culture is really blossoming in Mainz!
