On October 11, 2025, the police in Obrigheim, in the Bad Dürkheim district, were alerted because of loud arguments on Albsheimer Hauptstrasse. As reported by wochenblatt-reporter.de, it was a 44-year-old man who was in a highly aggressive state and apparently drunk. The man strongly resisted the officers' attempts to restrain him, which further escalated the situation.
The emergency services were forced to use a Taser to bring the aggressor under control. After this operation, which took place at 10:24 a.m., a blood sample was taken and the man was taken into police custody. Fortunately, there were no injuries in this incident.
