On July 10, 2025, the motto in Cologne was “Sport free!” at the Field Invasion Festival. In bright summer weather, 15 teams gathered to compete in a colorful competition at the field championships. The atmosphere was fantastic and the teams gave everything to clinch the title.
With skill, endurance and a good dose of luck, the participants competed against each other in various disciplines. From drinking a beer cup without completely emptying it to doing puzzles and looking for clothes, there was everything your heart could desire. It quickly became apparent that not only physical fitness was required, but also the ability to keep track of fun challenges.
An exciting competition scenario
Each team brought its own charm to the competition. The tasks challenged both the dexterity and the drinking ability of the participants. With the discipline of not drinking the beer cup completely, the fun factor was high and the jokes were flying through the air. Furthermore, the teams had to make clever strategic decisions while doing puzzles and looking for clothes as well as working well together within the team.
