Mutterstadt Christmas Market 2025: Festive highlights to experience!
This year's Christmas market will take place in the heart of Mutterstadt on November 29th and 30th and December 6th and 7th, 2025. Numerous festive offers await visitors on the forecourt of the Neue Pforte, at Herbert-Maurer-Platz and in the foyer of the town hall. The Christmas market combines culinary delights, tasty mulled wine, toys, Christmas baked goods and art objects that not only delight the heart, but also promise unforgettable enjoyment. The cozy atmosphere invites you to linger and ensures a special get-together.
A highlight for the little guests is the children's carousel, which will keep children's eyes shining throughout the entire event. The committed participation of numerous Mutterstadt clubs and organizations with sales stands and musical performances makes the anticipation for the upcoming Advent days even greater.
Program and opening times
The Christmas market opens its doors on Saturdays from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Sundays from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. The program starts on Friday, November 28th, 2025 with the opening of the Christmas exhibition “MODEL BUILDING EXHIBITION: Ships, Trains, Monuments – For the Whole Family” at 7:00 p.m. in the Historic Town Hall. On Saturday the market will be officially opened at 6:30 p.m. by Mayor Thorsten Leva and the brass section of the Mutterstadt wind orchestra. On Sunday, November 30th, at 5:00 p.m., visitors will be delighted with festive music by the MGV Frohsinn choir, followed by piano and keyboard students from the 1st HHC Mutterstadt at 6:00 p.m.
On the following Sunday, December 7th, the senior group Da Capo Akkordeon from the 1st HHC Mutterstadt will perform at 6:00 p.m. and round off the musical supporting program. A cozy get-together cannot be missed on all of these days, and there will certainly be a festive exchange between the visitors. Guests can also look forward to traditional specialties from the partner communities of Praszka in Poland and Oignies in France, which also contribute to cultural exchange.
