Today the 5th Rhineland-Palatinate Day of School Health opened its doors in Mainz, and the motto “Strengthening health in schools – strategies and concepts” is the focus of the event. This unique opportunity for teachers and everyone involved in school life is organized by the Rhineland-Palatinate Ministry of Education together with the Institute for Teacher Health (IfL) at the Mainz University Medical Center. The IfL, a unique institution in Germany since its founding in 2011, brings its expertise in occupational medicine, safety technology and psychology to strengthen health promotion in everyday school life.
Today is a platform for discussion on key issues relevant to the health and well-being of teachers. The focus of the event includes, among other things, operational integration management, risk assessment, occupational health prevention as well as aspects of exercise and mental health.
