Not much is happening in the Nahe wine-growing region this year: the election of the wine queen had to be canceled because no one applied for the office. Victoria Krings, the managing director of Weinland Nahe, was concerned that it was becoming increasingly difficult to inspire young people to volunteer. It is also unfortunate that there were no applications from young men this year, even though the office was only opened to them for the first time two years ago. Tim Heck remains the first and so far only male applicant in the history of the Nahe wine majesties. Last year only two candidates stood for election.
Looking for new ideas
