In a thrilling competition at the South German Championships in St. Wendel, Saarland, 16-year-old Julius Feuerfeil from Gerlingen won the bronze medal over 3,000 meters in the U18 class with an impressive time of 8:49.11 minutes. In doing so, he not only secured a place on the winner's podium, but also a record for the fastest time by a Gerlingen runner in this discipline.
