The registration and examination requirements
A crucial step in making optimal use of the infrastructure is registering the wallboxes with the network operator Energis - which is ahead with 6,300 registered private charging stations. The municipal utilities of Saarbrücken and KEW Neunkirchen follow with 1,200 and 1,150 registered wallboxes. Registration is not only important to avoid network congestion, it can also save owners a lot of money, between 100 and 200 euros.
