New president at the Rotary Club of Brunsbüttel: Bold plans for 2025!
Ralf Kist took over the office of President of the Rotary Club Brunsbüttel from Matthias Reimers today and is bringing a breath of fresh air into the club with his motto “Courage and Confidence”. His plans for the coming months are aimed at activating club life and supporting numerous charitable projects both in the region between Meldorf and Brunsbüttel and in Liberia, as Boyens Medien reports.
The planned activities include a Rotary Charity Golf tournament in September and a stall at the Christmas market in Brunsbüttel. These events are intended to help raise the necessary funds for the diverse projects the club implements annually.
A look back
Looking back on Matthias Reimers' year in office, he draws a positive conclusion. A total of 55,000 euros were donated, including to organizations such as the Bunten Kreis Nord and Lebenshilfe Dithmarschen. A highlight was the Rotary Hansetour 2025, in which over 200 riders took part and cycled more than 100 kilometers through Dithmarschen.
The club's new board is composed as follows: Ralf Kist is the president, Dr. Dieter Kienitz is the president-elect, Matthias Reimers remains active as past president, Sören Losch is the club master, Annika Boeck takes over the office of club secretary and Tede Ibs takes care of the finances as treasurer.
