Big Music Summer 2025: Free festivals in Schleswig-Holstein!
The summer of 2025 will be a real festival for music lovers in Schleswig-Holstein. The NDR Schleswig-Holstein invites you to a series of open air live concerts that take place in breathtaking locations. All events are free, meaning everyone has the opportunity to enjoy the sun and good music. This summer series will take place at various locations, including the Baltic Sea resort of Grömitz, the popular city festival in Büdelsdorf and the SH Netz Cup in Rendsburg. This means visitors can enjoy a varied program without having to worry about the admission price. NDR reports that Kamrad will ring in the festival summer in Grömitz on July 4, 2025.
Kamrad, known for his catchy hits “I Believe,” “Feel Alive” and “So Good,” is sure to put you in a good mood with his melodies. It will be exciting to see how the audience reacts to this talented artist. Another highlight will be the Marquess concert on July 12, 2025 in Büsum. The band is known for their exotic pop and rousing Latin sounds, with which they celebrated success back in 2006. Hits like “El Temperamento” and “Vayamos Compañeros” catapulted them into the top 10 of eleven European countries, many of them even reaching number 1. Marquess will be supported by the cover band “DIE”, who will perform a mixture of party classics and new hits.
Highlight events in summer
On the weekends, the 25th anniversary of city rights is celebrated in Büdelsdorf with a great program. JustToto and Freestyle will be performing on July 18th and 19th and are sure to provide an unforgettable celebration. Anyone who comes a little further to Rendsburg can look forward to an impressive line-up between August 8th and 10th, including Max Giesinger, Chris Norman and Michy Reincke. It will be exciting to see how the SH Netz Cup talents are received by visitors.
The town festival in Pinneberg will be the crowning conclusion of the summer series with Cassandra Steen on September 6, 2025, and expectations are high here too. The moderators Kristin Recke, Horst Hoof and Lisa Knittel will lead through the events and ensure that everything runs smoothly. Büsum also mentions that interaction with the audience is very important at these events, which provides additional entertainment.
