On July 3, 2025, an exciting chapter opened at Rostock Zoo - the new seal enclosure! The facility offers a modern saltwater pool and large panoramic windows through which visitors can observe the animals underwater. The Rostock Zoo is a real jewel on the Baltic Sea coast and is home to around 6,500 animals from around 500 species.
