On Sunday, July 6, 2025, the ballroom of the Maritim Strandhotel in Travemünde will be the setting for a special musical experience. In this festive setting, the Lübeck Pop Symphonics their concert program “Selections”, which offers an exciting overview of the world of film, musicals and pop music. The event starts at 6 p.m. and promises an unforgettable experience for the whole family.
The Lübeck Pop Symphonics, a voluntary music association with around 90 active members, will organize the concert together with their orchestra, band and choir, under the musical direction of Martin Hermann. The program includes legendary soundtracks from films such as “Star Wars” and “The Godfather”, but also well-known hits that are likely to encourage viewers to sing along.
An event with heart
This concert is not only a treat for the ears, but also serves a good cause. This is the 11th charity concert organized by the Lions Club Travemünde. The proceeds from the evening will go to the Travemünde city school’s “Musikus” music project, which is committed to the musical promotion of young talent. This event kills two birds with one stone: enjoying musical diversity and doing something good at the same time.
The energetic performance is accompanied by an impressive light show that will further captivate the audience.
