Neumünster benefits: New high-tech warehouse goes into operation!
In Neumünster, more precisely on Baeyerstrasse, the Bartels-Langness Group (Bela) opened a new high-bay warehouse today, which was realized with an investment of 17 million euros. This advanced warehouse stands out thanks to its impressive height of 33 meters and extensive automation. Instead of human employees, complex systems work here that enable a total capacity of 38,000 pallet spaces. As a reminder, before the expansion there were only 27,000 cookies.
As kn-online.de reports, up to 200 pallets per hour can be moved in this fully automated warehouse. The storage area measures an impressive 2,100 square meters, and a conveyor system with a length of 228 meters transports the pallets at a speed of up to 16 km/h. Dry ranges are stored here, which primarily supply retailers such as Famila, Markant and Nah&Frisch.
Technical finesse and safety aspects
Strategically, the warehouse was built in a silo construction, with the steel shelves forming the supporting structure. To ensure the load-bearing capacity of the soil, over 800 vertical piles were included in the civil engineering. Before commissioning, an extensive test phase took place to ensure that everything worked smoothly and that maximum efficiency was achieved. The employees were also trained in emergency management, especially for rescue at height on the upper floors of the camp.
Torben Mohr is responsible for the new warehouse as site manager, while managing director Volker Bluhm is also part of the overall management. With this new opening, the Bartels Langness Group shows that it has a good hand in shaping the future and is ready to set new standards in the field of logistics.
New developments in the streaming world
Closing domains always brings with it uncertainty. However, StreamEast was quickly back on its feet and launched 20 new mirror domains that can still be used. Users and experts say the legal outlook is uncertain, but there have been precedents in the past where domains were returned after a seizure. These developments show how dynamic and challenging the digital landscape is - and how important flexibility is in times of change. Further details on this topic can be found at streamdiag.com. In a world that is constantly changing, it remains exciting to see how both local companies and digital players cope with the challenges of the market. Neumünster shows itself to be a place of progress that is highly valued not only in technology, but also in the sharing of resources and knowledge.
