Stockelsdorf starts free energy advice for all citizens!

A new initiative for free energy advice is starting in Stockelsdorf, which was launched together with the Schleswig-Holstein consumer advice center. From now on, citizens can take advantage of personal consultations every Wednesday from 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Villa Jebsen (Ahrensböker Straße 78). This service aims to help citizens reduce their energy costs and make sustainable decisions regarding their energy use, reports LN Online.

As part of these weekly consultations, topics such as electricity cost bills, changing providers, heating technology, insulation, solar systems as well as cost estimates and applications for funding can be discussed. If you prefer, you don't even have to leave the house: the municipality of Stockelsdorf temporarily covers the costs of home visits, so that these can also be carried out by an energy consultant - free of charge for those seeking advice, who would normally have paid 40 euros.

Benefits of energy consulting

The new energy advice is not only free, but also offers a valuable service for low-income households who can provide proof of this. The consultation also includes a short report with recommendations for action, but no energy certificates or renovation schedules are created. This could be a welcome relief for many, especially in times of rising energy costs.

The initiative follows a three-year cooperation with the Schleswig-Holstein consumer advice center, which has been able to support around 600 people seeking advice during this time. The energy consultant, Dipl.-Ing. Ingo Sell, is available to those interested on the first floor of Villa Jebsen, with an elevator providing convenient access.

Further information offers

But Stockelsdorf is not the only address that offers information on the sustainable use of energy. Various institutions, including the Investment Bank Schleswig-Holstein (IB.SH) Energy Agency and the Schleswig-Holstein Energy Efficiency Center (SHeff-Z), are available to provide support. These partners take care of topics such as energy saving, energy efficiency and funding opportunities, tell us kiel.de and zufish.schleswig-holstein.de about the offers.

Consumers can also receive telephone advice on energy saving measures and subsidies. The SHeff-Z also offers a permanent exhibition for manufacturer-independent advice, which covers the topics of insulation, heating, energy saving and building automation.

Overall, the energy advice in Stockelsdorf shows how important such initiatives are for citizens in order to find sustainable and economical solutions in the energy sector. If you are interested, you can reserve an appointment directly by calling 0451/722 48 and take advantage of the various offers.
