Music festival in Pronstorf: great weather and lots of boos!
In Pronstorf the music festival celebrated a successful comeback kn online reported. On one of the last weekends in the summer, the event drew around 800 enthusiastic visitors to the concert cowshed. With ideal weather, in contrast to the extreme conditions of previous years, the event offered the best conditions for an unforgettable experience.
The presenter Charlotte Oelschläger, known from NDR, charmingly led through the program. She managed to captivate the audience immediately. Many of those present had already taken part in the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival, others such as Michel Kühn and Jens Franke from Berlin, Peggy and Uwe Ney from Kisdorf and Denise Peters from Bornhöved were newcomers to the music festival scene. Constanze Lorenz found clear words and said: “This is the center of the earth today.”
Culture and criticism
The first highlight of the evening was the Lübeck shanty choir “Möwenschiet”. But the musical performances were not limited to maritime sounds: a quartet from Portugal, consisting of the talented saxophonists Daniel Ferreira, Catarina Gomes, Pedro Silva and Mafalda Oliveira, took the audience on a musical journey that even included a tour of Brazil. The program included works by renowned composers such as Jean Rivier, Henriette Bosmans, Kurt Weill and George Gershwin.
However, not everything was perfect. Günther Pries from Bad Oldesloe was critical of the lack of disabled parking spaces. He had to walk longer distances with his walker and thus made a clear statement that inclusion should be a top priority at such events.
Overall, the Pronstorf Music Festival was a rousing event that received a lot of praise despite minor criticisms. The perfect combination of music, community and a touch of summer fun made visitors' hearts beat faster.
