There were no injuries reported and no other areas of the shopping center had to be evacuated. The head of operations clearly rejected rumors of a fire and explained that it was due to aerosolization caused by the liquid coolant, which had become gaseous.

The operation ended around 6:30 p.m. and the Edeka market remained closed on Thursday. However, on Friday morning he opened the doors to his customers again. The quick and effective response of the fire department and market staff ensured that the situation was dealt with without any problems and that there was no danger to visitors.
