Environmental heroes on stage: Free seats for children's theater in Leonberg!
A magical afternoon awaits little theater lovers in Leonberg on November 11, 2025. Under the title "Stop! I still need that." The environmental theater “forschperspektive” is giving a public, free performance for children aged five to ten years accompanied by adults. This event is organized by the Böblingen waste management company (AWB) and takes place at 3 p.m. in the Theater im Spitalhof, Spitalhof 2. If you would like to experience the performance, you should register in good time, including adult accompaniment.
The piece places particular emphasis on topics such as waste prevention and separation. It is taught in a playful way how waste-free living works and how important it is to dispose of waste correctly. In addition to educational content, viewers can also expect a musical supporting program and creative ideas for upcycling objects. An absolute must-see for environmentally conscious families!
Diverse theater offerings
The environmental theater also offers a variety of other plays that also deal with the topics of waste prevention and separation. For example, the play “Little Elf in Great Danger”, which is aimed at primary schools and has a running time of around 55 minutes. The Christmas version with the title “Little Angel in Great Danger” is also sought after by many schools because it addresses the topic of the throwaway mentality in a playful and educational way.
For the very little ones there is the interactive play “Pepina and the Garbage Ghosts”, which is very popular in kindergartens. In about 45 minutes it conveys how important it is to pay attention to the environment and to dispose of waste correctly.
A stage for environmental awareness
Environmental theater and its plays are an excellent opportunity to introduce children to topics such as environmental protection and sustainability at an early age. Not only is knowledge imparted, but awareness of one's own responsibility is also heightened. Anyone interested in the events can find further information and registration options on the AWB website www.awb-bb.de/ events and can thus ensure that seats for the theater performances are reserved in good time.
Be there when sustainability is a priority in the theater and bring your children with you to an unforgettable experience in the Leonberger Theater!
