TV Trichtingen celebrates successes: Coach Diesch takes stock of the season!
TV Trichtingen performed well in fistball last season! In a conversation with the Black Forest messenger Coach Armin Diesch draws a positive conclusion. The club, which was founded in 1977, has fought its way up from the last regional league into the Bundesliga - using only self-trained players. A remarkable achievement, especially for a town with only 800 inhabitants.
How did this come about? TV Trichtingen looks back on an eventful club history. After being successful in the Swabian League, a setback in the district league followed. But the coaching team under Armin Diesch, who has been in office since 2012, was able to build on previous successes. In 2019, the club qualified for the promotion games to the 2nd Bundesliga for the first time and celebrated promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga South in 2022.
The special strengths of the club
What is special about fistball sports in Trichtingen? Armin Diesch particularly emphasizes the solidarity and enthusiasm of the club members. This is also reflected in the organization of the annual tournament in the Fackelbergarena, which will celebrate its 45th anniversary in 2023. The club not only has a women's team that plays in the regional league, but also two U8 teams that promote young talent.
In addition to the sporting activities, there is another planned step: TV Trichtingen has announced that it will have both a women's and a second men's team for the 2023 field season. A clear indication that the sport of fistball is being promoted on a broad basis and talent is being promoted.
International context of fistball
But what about on an international level? The German national fistball team, coached by Olaf Neuenfeld, has established itself as one of the best in the world. Germany can shine with impressive successes: 13 world championship titles and 15 European championship titles speak for themselves. They are regularly on the podium at world championships and thus prove the high quality of fistball in Germany. This also inspires local clubs like TV Trichtingen, who train the next generation of fistball players with passion and commitment.
So it's no wonder that Armin Diesch is optimistic about the future after the season. TV Trichtingen has not only achieved a lot in terms of sport, but has also proven how important solidarity and training work are. The enthusiasm for the sport of fistball is alive in Trichtingen and shows that the club has a good chance of continuing to assert itself at the top in the coming years.
