VfR Sulz starts the district league season with a fresh team!
VfR Sulz remains in the Northern Black Forest district league and is positioning itself for the coming season with fresh enthusiasm. After Spvgg Freudenstadt was promoted to the state league via relegation, VfR can look optimistically into the new season. The goal? Staying in the league in order to avoid a terrible season like last year, where 46 points were collected and relegation was still necessary. What's particularly pleasing is that from the new season onwards only three teams will have to be relegated, instead of twice as many as before.
Coach Philipp Rumpel and Domenico Mosca have positioned themselves clearly: in order to finish higher in the table, improved utilization of opportunities is needed. This insight can be crucial for the desired stability in the league. There were a few changes in the team in the last transfer period. While Sven Schwalber and Mike Plocher have ended their careers, Alin-Martian Cozma is also leaving the club.
New to the team
What is clear, however, is that the competition is fresh with new faces. VfR Sulz is pleased about the signing of Dennis Mutschler (TSF Dornhan), Mohammad Aldebsawi (TSG Wittershausen), as well as Kevin Lange and Thomas Heinz, who were previously active at SGM Sulz/Sigmarswangen/Holzhausen. Thomas Heinz also has experience as a former player-coach in the district league B.
Preparation for the new season
Preparations are already in full swing. So far the team has played three test matches, all of which were successful: they beat TSF Trillfingen 2:1, TSV Frommern 6:2 and even SV Hirrlingen 7:3. Another test match against SGM Böhringen/Dietingen is in the pipeline to further prepare the team for the challenges ahead. The opening program is impressive: The first encounters are against TSF Dornhan, SV Eutingen and SV Baiersbronn.
What happens next? The legionnaires and fans can be excited. The new season offers many opportunities and a good hand from the coaches and players will be crucial. Further information on the current developments surrounding VfR Sulz can be found on Fussball.de and on Kicker.de.
