Circus magic in Mönchweiler: Young talents inspire 250 spectators!

In Mönchweiler, around 250 guests experienced an unforgettable acrobatic show performed by 70 young talents in the circus tent on the sports field. During the autumn holidays, the children and young people had the chance to try out their skills in the Circus Piccolo and present the tricks they had learned. This event was organized by Tana and Rene Riedesel as well as Giuseppe Monelli, who with a lot of commitment and passion ensured that the circus days were a complete success. The children's smiling faces and energetic performances were the best proof of the positive outcome of the event.

Preparations for the gala show were already in full swing a few weeks before. Coordinated by Samira Bensmail, Mönchweiler's youth coordinator, the children were able to overcome their initial skepticism about the acrobatic exercises and develop a lot of enthusiasm. “I have found a good knack for acrobatics,” said the young acrobat Kim, while her friend Isabelle reported on her performances with sparkles in her eyes. The show lasted a total of 75 minutes and fascinated the audience with disciplines such as balancing, juggling, floor acrobatics and spectacular trapeze performances.

Successful event

The circus days were not only a valuable leisure activity for the children, but also brought together the community members, who rewarded the diverse performances with lots of applause. “Events like this are important to offer the children a platform,” said a spectator after the performance. The respective break clowns announced the next numbers and ensured cheerfulness and a good mood in the audience. It was clearly noticeable that the actors and spectators inspire and support each other.

Discussions with sponsors and the community to support this circus week began in February, and the commitment was worth it. Due to the great interest and positive feedback, there is a possibility that the participatory circus will take place again in two years. The artists and their supervisors are optimistic and are looking forward to the next edition.

With such impressive performances and the enthusiasm in the air, it became clear in Mönchweiler how important such initiatives are for young people. Everyone involved in the organization and implementation can be proud of this successful event, which has certainly found a nice place in the hearts of the little artists and the audience.
