Reading time is back in Freiamt! On Friday, July 11, 2025, the organizers of the Glass Library invite you to an exciting reading series for little bookworms. From 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., children between the ages of 4 and 7 can look forward to a varied program in the reading room of the Kurhaus. A maximum number of participants of 15 little visitors ensures that everyone has enough space to immerse themselves in the world of stories.
There are several reasons for parents to be happy: While their children immerse themselves in the captivating Kamishibai stories, they have the opportunity to browse the glass library themselves or relax in the spa garden. “You can accompany the children at any time,” says the library’s official invitation.
A creative adventure
The highlight of the afternoon will not only be the exciting Kamishibai story, but also a creative offering that stimulates the children's imagination. The organizers have come up with a lot of ideas to ensure that the little participants have an unforgettable time. “We look forward to getting the children excited about reading and offering them a creative break,” says a spokesman for the Glass Library.

This event is not just a one-off event, but takes place every 2nd Friday of the month, creating a regular stop for the little bookworms. This means the children can continually discover new stories and let off steam creatively.
